We purchased a custom multiple channel precision thermistor instrument from GEC Instruments for use with an apparatus we developed for measuring thermal conductivity of materials. This instrument has 16 stable glass bead thermistors and one highly accurate and stable 1/8" diameter stainless steel thermistor standards probe. We are using this instrument nearly every day and have conducted hundreds of hours of experiments without any equipment problems."
